Happy Matrimony

Contrary to popular belief, I am still alive.

Before I packed up my computer to be shipped off halfway across the country, I set this up so I would be able to post from my Blackberry. Unfortunately somewhere along the way I forgot how to do that, or Blogger blacklisted me because it said I needed to subscribe to phone postings (which I had already done) - so who knows! But my computer made it here without UPS breaking it, and it seems we've had internet the whole time.

The internet seems to be included in our cable, which is included in our rent. We don't really know. We have it and we're not asking questions. Simple as that.

So yeah, we went and got married on October 9th. It started out the day before when Clint came home from work and told me he had a surprise for me the next day. I tried to pry it out of him with no success - that surprise turned into him having off the next day (and then some) and him driving us to downtown El Paso - I didn't realized why we were there until I realized we were walking up to the courthouse and he said, "have you figured it out yet?"

It was the best surprise ever and let me tell you, Justice of the Peace ALL THE WAY! None of the retarded pomp and circumstance that is associated with typical weddings these days that always end up turning into Dance Party USA that you blew your savings on. This cost is a total of $105 and I thought it was absolutely perfect.

After we said our "I Will's" we set off for a long five-day weekend of newlywed bliss since he didn't have to go back to work until today.

That is where the wedding day extravaganza began that led us on an all day unexpected adventure through the wilderness of El Paso...but that's another story for next time.

Right now I have laundry to do, some vacuuming, the dishwasher is washing dishes and then I get to wait until 5:30 PM when he returns home from work.

Housewifeing? Yes, please!
