The Great Pumpkin

It's crisp and 39 degrees here right now. The perfect weather for crawling around on the porch to take pictures of a pumpkin.

The first day I was here after I got picked up at the airport and we were driving to the apartment we passed a so-called "pumpkin patch" - and I used the term pumpkin patch loosely because it was just a guy and a bunch of pumpkins enclosed in a chain link fence in the parking lot of the local Kmart.

I mentioned something and we pulled up next to it so I could go pick out one. We've had this pumpkin sitting in our kitchen for the last three weeks collecting dust, so earlier this week I finally drew a face on it and we carved it last night after Clint got home from work. Halloween is only a week away anyway.

I decided to make a super awesome CYCLOPS PUMPKIN OF DOOM - it's okay. It could have been better, but whatever. I need to find some of those flameless tea lights. Maybe I can find them at the Kmart next to the pumpkin patch.

Added Bonus: While I was carving, Clint said, "don't cut yourself" and I said, "I won't cut myself" - I managed to cut myself. He then went on to tell me I was going to get gangrene and die. Then he kissed it to make it feel better and complained about me giving him AIDS. :(

Edit: I do not have AIDS, by the way.
